People and Culture Intern - Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor (Season 2027)

About the role

The People & Culture Intern supports the People & Culture team in the daily administration and execution of a wide range of HR initiatives. This internship provides hands-on exposure to key areas including employee engagement, internal communications, recruitment support, learning and development, employee administration, and culture initiatives. The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of Human Resources within a luxury hospitality environment while contributing to creating an exceptional employee experience across the resort. 

What you will do 

• Provide administrative support to the People & Culture team, including filing, data management, documentation, and employee records. 

• Assist with the onboarding process for new employees and interns, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. 

• Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, celebrations, and internal events. 

• Assist in coordinating colleague activities, wellness initiatives, and culture-driven programs. 

• Contribute to internal communication projects, ensuring communication channels such as notice boards, TV screens, newsletters, internal social media, and other platforms remain updated. 

• Support the creation of presentations, reports, communications materials, and departmental documentation. 

• Assist with training and development initiatives, including scheduling sessions, tracking attendance, and maintaining training records. 

• Support recruitment activities, including job posting updates, candidate communication, interview coordination, career fairs, and Talent Days. 

• Assist with employer branding initiatives and partnerships with hospitality schools and universities. 

• Support People & Culture projects and administrative processes as required. 

• Collaborate with all departments across the resort, helping promote Four Seasons culture, values, and employee experience initiatives. 

• Maintain confidentiality when handling employee information and departmental documentation. 

What you bring 

• Education: Currently studying Human Resources, Psychology, Labor Relations, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. 

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization. 

• Organization Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate documentation and records. 

• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when handling employee information, reports, communications, and administrative processes. 

• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build positive relationships and foster collaboration across different departments. 

• Employee Engagement Mindset: Passion for creating positive employee experiences and contributing to a strong workplace culture. 

• Initiative and Proactivity: Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned tasks, and actively contribute new ideas. 

• Creativity: Interest in supporting internal communication campaigns, events, recognition programs, and engagement activities. 

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with Canva or similar design tools is an advantage. 

• Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to work in a dynamic environment and support a variety of People & Culture initiatives. 

• Professionalism and Confidentiality: Ability to manage sensitive employee information with discretion and integrity. 

• Legal right to work in Spain.  

Degree: Currently studying Human Resources, Psychology, Labor Relations, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. 

Languages: Fluency in spoken Spanish and English.

Schedule & Hours: Seasonal contract, full Time, 40 hours per week, with consecutive and rotating shifts (including early mornings, days, evenings and weekends).
