The Food Runner is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The Food Runner position assists Servers in providing an enjoyable expertly served poolside experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness.

Food Runners ensure all outgoing dishes are correctly prepared according to guest’s specific requests including dietary restrictions. Food Runners present the food to the guest and are knowledgeable about all current menu options, beverage lists and daily specials.

The qualified candidate will possess the following:

• At least 6 months of food and beverage experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Extensive knowledge of food and beverage.
• Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
• Flexible schedule; ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 lbs.
