We are looking for a driven, customer-centric Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our commercial, corporate and association stakeholders. You will act as a trusted risk advisor, balancing portfolio growth with exceptional client retention.

 

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Hub: Serve as the central point of contact for an existing portfolio of dedicated clients.
  • Corporate Accountability: Manage and take full ownership of high-value corporate client accounts.
  • Brand Ambassador: Actively represent Guild Insurance at key industry conferences and networking events.
  • Drive Business Growth: Identify new business opportunities and "whole of account" solutions.
  • Underwrite with Insight: Evaluate industry risks and make sound, profitable underwriting decisions which benefit both Guild and our client.
  • Negotiate & Influence: Present tailored insurance solutions to complex, multi-level stakeholders.
  • Collaborate Internally: Work with claims, underwriting, and product teams to deliver seamless digital solutions.
  • Experience: Proven track record in insurance broking, underwriting, or commercial account management.
  • Public Relations: Confidence in public speaking and representing a brand in public industry forums.
  • Skills: Strong presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Acumen: A deep understanding of industry trends, channel development, and meeting budget targets.
  • Communication: Ability to translate complex technical insurance jargon into universal, clear advice.
  • Mindset: A purpose-driven, "customer-first" approach that aligns with our community values.
