About HB

HB is a leading independent UK creative agency that partners with some of the world’s most influential B2B brands. Our mission is to craft powerful creative solutions that connect business audiences through insight-led strategy, compelling storytelling, and design excellence.

The Role

We’re seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead and grow key client relationships across branding, digital, and integrated campaigns. You’ll act as a strategic partner to clients, ensuring their business objectives are fully understood and translated into effective creative solutions.

You’ll own the day-to-day client relationship, guiding projects from brief through to delivery, ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with strategy, creative, and project management teams, you’ll ensure seamless execution while identifying opportunities for account growth.

This is a pivotal role for an experienced client services professional with strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of key client accounts, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Build strong, trusted client relationships, positioning HB as a strategic partner.
  • Translate client briefs into clear, actionable project scopes and creative opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with strategy, creative, and project management teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
  • Identify opportunities for organic growth, upsell, and cross-sell across accounts.
  • Manage account financials, including forecasting, budgeting, and revenue tracking.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and status updates with confidence and clarity.
  • Ensure alignment between client expectations and internal delivery teams.
  • Proactively resolve challenges and manage stakeholder expectations throughout project lifecycles.
  • Support and mentor junior account managers and executives within the team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience in account management within a creative, brand or digital agency.
  • Proven experience managing and growing B2B client accounts.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets and revenue targets.
  • Excellent client-facing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate business challenges into effective creative briefs.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of branding, digital, and integrated campaign delivery.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including strategy, creative, and development.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft 365 and familiarity with agency/project tools (e.g. WorkBook, Jira, or similar).
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
