The Senior Account Manager will have the responsibility for managing the day to day relationship of a key HH Global client. Managing a significant throughput of projects and campaigns in order to deliver against an agreed scope of works. The role will have overall responsibility for the delivery of all projects they are responsible for, interpreting client brief requirements to ensure campaign materials are developed and delivered on time and against client operational, commercial, environmental and quality requirements.
You will be responsible for maintaining an excellent standard of communication with existing clients and developing relationships with new clients. You will have an extensive background in delivering multi-material / permanent retail solutions for customers and a proactive / creative approach to problem solving.
Key Responsibilities
Be regarded by the client as an expert who provides support and proactively inputs ideas to solutions proposed by creative teams to derive the best solution for shoppers.
Be confident in discussing and challenging clients on briefs and objectives.
Work seamlessly with the client creative and strategy teams to provide value added input to client meetings and discussions. Be seen as the expert voice.
Taking client briefs and pro-actively suggesting alternative solutions to the client – adding value, up selling and cross selling where possible.
Be able to predict and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring relevant team members are fully involved and aware.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the client’s business and actively seek opportunities for further account development.
Ability to identify opportunities and actively convert these into briefs and revenue.
Working to ensure that the client has confidence the project and campaigns will meet or exceed their expectationsCreating, monitoring and controlling the project timeline / schedule, immediately communicating to the client any changes or delays and pushing back as required.
Work closely with the selected supplier partners ensuring timelines and quality are being followed at all times.
Deliver operationally for the client across key categories in particular in-store POSM and permanent retail fixtures, including pop-up stores
Brief and manage installations working with selected installation partners and ensuring live reporting.
Engage senior management for early alerts of risks to client satisfaction and income, and propose solutions.
Lead and motivate those working with and for you, including line management and support your teams’ development,
Ensure your team is clear as to the financial goals and personal growth objectives for the year and work with them on achieving them.
Ownership of client account financial targets, turnover and profitability.
Be able to maintain and drive the WIP, budgeting and forecasting process.
Produce detailed estimates, even for new offerings.
Work within operational best practices ensuring complete compliance always on the projects.
Be laser focused on paying attention to the details.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
10+ years’ experience in delivering high quality permanent retail solutions.
Experience of digital integration would also be advantageous
Good people management and motivation skills (both internally and externally) as well as a proven track record of building lasting relationships with clients.
Great presentation skills and ability to drive pitch success.
Digitally savvy and a willingness to find new and exciting ways to communicate.
Client focused with excellent client facing skills.
A positive and proactive personality with a genuine enjoyment of client contact and teamwork.
Quality conscious with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a high energy environment and proven experience of meeting/exceeding timelines.
Demonstrate professionalism to clients, colleagues and suppliers.
Commercial business drive, determination to achieve excellence.
Commercial business knowledge.
