About the Role
~1 min readWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive People Operations Specialist – Compliance & Governance to support efficient, compliant, and employee-centric People Operations in a fast-paced global technology environment.
This role will play a key part in strengthening People Operations governance, supporting IPO readiness initiatives, ensuring audit preparedness, and driving operational excellence across the employee lifecycle. The individual will partner closely with People, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and Internal Audit teams to maintain strong controls, enhance compliance, and deliver a seamless employee experience.
What will YOU be doing?
- Support core People Operations activities across the employee lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and a positive employee experience.
- Partner with Payroll, Benefits, and other People functions to ensure timely and compliant execution of operational processes.
- Contribute to the delivery of People Shared Services by maintaining high service quality standards and adherence to SLAs.
- Support compliance and governance initiatives across People processes, ensuring alignment with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and operational controls.
- Monitor adherence to policies, SOPs, and established governance frameworks while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining effective controls to support a scalable and compliant People Operations function.
- Prepare, maintain, and organize audit-ready documentation and supporting records.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring timely responses to requests and closure of remediation actions.
- Contribute to IPO readiness activities by supporting People-related controls, documentation, and governance requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen audit preparedness and compliance practices.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of employee data across HR systems.
- Support reporting requirements, compliance metrics, and governance-related analyses.
- Monitor and drive timely resolution of data discrepancies, compliance findings, and process gaps.
- Collaborate with People Business Partners, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and Internal Audit teams to standardize processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve service delivery, and enhance employee experience through process optimization.
- Support projects and initiatives focused on operational excellence, governance, and scalability.

Nice to Have
~1 min read- 5–8 years of experience in People Operations, HR Shared Services, HR Compliance, or related functions.
- Experience supporting compliance, governance, audit, internal controls, or operational excellence initiatives.
- Exposure to IPO readiness, SOX controls, or public company compliance environments is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a global and fast-paced technology organization preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and Audit teams.
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
- ADP
- Freshdesk or similar case management/ticketing platforms
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
Requirements

- HR, Compliance, Audit, or related certifications are an advantage.
