This is an entry-level position that is well suited for someone who enjoys working with numbers, records, and details and wants to build experience in Human Resources. Success in this role requires accuracy, consistency, accountability, and the ability to recognize when something does not look right and communicate it to the appropriate person.


Responsibilities

  • Enter, review, and maintain employee time and attendance data.
  • Review employee hours and activity on a daily basis for accuracy and completeness.
  • Compare timekeeping records against schedules, attendance records, and other available activity reports.
  • Identify discrepancies, missing punches, incorrect hours, and other timekeeping errors.
  • Document identified errors and maintain appropriate records of corrections and follow-up.
  • Notify managers, supervisors, HR personnel, and other appropriate parties when discrepancies are identified.
  • Follow up on unresolved timekeeping issues to ensure they are addressed timely.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records and documentation.
  • Handle employee and company information with appropriate confidentiality.
  • Follow established HR, timekeeping, and attendance procedures.
  • Perform other administrative and HR support duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous HR, payroll, timekeeping, data entry, or administrative experience is helpful but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer and data-entry skills.
  • Ability to identify inconsistencies and follow issues through to resolution.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees and management.
  • Ability to work with confidential information.
  • Ability to learn and consistently follow established procedures.
  • Abilty to work with little to no unscheduled absences

This role ensures accurate time and attendance tracking, supports compliance, and helps maintain fair and consistent workforce practices while enabling leaders to make informed decisions.

  • Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
  • Starts at $17.00 an hour
