Johnson Controls invites you to apply for an internship located in Columbia, SC. The controls tech intern performs assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools, and troubleshoots and resolves basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems.

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student
• An effective communicator to all levels of the organization 
• Must have demonstrated computer skills, including use of Microsoft Excel
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.  

• Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently 
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) preferred  
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience or classes related to HVAC

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $20.50/hour (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
