• Support the Venue Manager in creating a guest-first culture where service consistently exceeds expectations.
• Lead by example on the floor, building genuine connections with guests and associates.
• Assist with service recovery and ensure guest concerns are resolved promptly and professionally.
• Monitor guest feedback and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Create memorable experiences that encourage repeat visitation and positive word-of-mouth.

• Coach, motivate, and support a team of hospitality professionals.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and development initiatives.
• Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture built on trust, respect, and collaboration.
• Support performance management conversations and provide constructive feedback.
• Recognise and celebrate team successes and achievements.

• Support the day-to-day operation of the venue, ensuring exceptional service standards are maintained.
• Assist with scheduling, labour management, stock control, and ordering processes.
• Ensure Marriott brand standards, policies, and compliance requirements are consistently met.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and safety throughout the venue.
• Support the Venue Manager in achieving financial and operational objectives.

• Assist in executing promotions, activations, and special events.
• Help build engagement with local guests and support initiatives that drive patronage and loyalty.
• Stay informed on industry trends and guest preferences.
• Collaborate with the Marketing, Events, and Commercial teams to support venue growth and awareness.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience and improve operational efficiency.

• A passionate hospitality professional with a genuine love for food, beverage, and guest experience.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience within restaurants, bars, hotels, or hospitality venues.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
• A positive, hands-on leadership style and willingness to support where needed.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to guest service.
• Understanding of labour management, food safety, workplace health and safety, and operational standards.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Food & Beverage, Hospitality Operations, or a related field, including supervisory responsibilities; and a High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 2 years' leadership experience in hospitality operations and/or a tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Business Administration, Food Service Management, or a related discipline.

The successful candidate must have unrestricted working rights in Australia for a minimum of two years and be available to work a flexible roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
