Cook

Cook position at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital - University Campus 3599 University Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32216.

Job duties include but are not limited to: Preparing patient meals, cold food preparation, cafe meal preparation, grab and go preparation, grill station cook, cleaning, stocking, and prepping.

Required experience/skills: Previous hospital cook experience preferred, knife skills, sanitation knowledge, food allergen knowledge, and ability to follow standardized recipes.  

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Rotating shifts, 3:30 am - 12:00 pm and 10:30 am - 7:00 pm.

Weekends and Holidays: Rotating weekends and holidays required.

Ability to apply elementary mathematical statistics that would apply to inventory and portioning
