Description

The Specialist, will be responsible for leading the end-to-end commercial planning process for select Retailers, driving profitable revenue growth, managing dilution effectively, and exceeding quarterly and annual targets. The position serves as a primary cross-functional partner, collaborating closely with Sales, Demand Planning, Supply, Fulfillment, Finance, and external Retailer Planning teams to align strategies and ensure seamless execution. This individual will leverage their strong analytical skills and business acumen to provide actionable insights, manage risks, drive results, and champion process improvements across the organization.

· Manage sales forecasts, inventory plans, and OTBs to support retail and revenue targets 

· Analyze retail sales, sell-through, WOS, and inventory trends to identify risks and opportunities 

· Partner cross-functionally with Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance teams to align inventory flow and business priorities 

· Monitor stock levels and proactively identify potential out-of-stock or excess inventory risks 

· Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning processes, including revenue forecasting and reporting 

· Build and maintain reporting tools & trackers for sales performance, inventory health, and promo analysis 

· Evaluate promo performance and recommend actions to maximize sales and margin opportunities 

· Track purchase orders, replen timing, and shipment schedules to ensure product availability 

· Prepare business recaps, executive summaries, and retailer-facing reports with key insights and action items 

· Collaborate with retailer partners and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on forecasts, inventory needs, and sales expectations 

· Conduct ad hoc analysis to support strategic business decisions and respond to leadership requests 

· Maintain data accuracy across planning systems, sales reports, and inventory trackers 

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)

· 2-3+ years of experience in Commercial Planning, Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, Sales Planning, Merchandise Planning, or similar

· Beauty, Consumer Goods (CPG), or related industry experience preferred

· Experience working with omni-channel Mass and/or Specialty Retailers, as well as e-commerce (including Amazon), preferred

· Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.); experience with PowerBI, Netsuite, or similar BI/ERP tools preferred; planning & AI tool experience a plus

· Strong financial acumen and advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling business insights and actionable recommendations

· High attention to detail, proactive creative and resourceful problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; adjusts tone and message to appropriate audiences

· Collaborative team player with experience building strong cross-functional & external stakeholder relationships

· Ability to travel quarterly

The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
