NextGen Hospitality Solutions is on the lookout for a dedicated Kitchen Manager to join our innovative Scratch Kitchen team in Covington. This full-time, on-site position offers a unique opportunity for culinary professionals to lead kitchen operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

As a Kitchen Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards and delivered promptly to our guests. You will be instrumental in managing inventory, training staff, and maintaining a safe and compliant kitchen environment. Your leadership will play a pivotal role in driving our commitment to exceptional food quality and outstanding customer service.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 annually, along with opportunities for career growth and development within the bustling restaurant industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day kitchen operations, including staffing, scheduling, and food preparation
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to cultivate a strong team dynamic
  • Maintain inventory levels and control food costs efficiently
  • Implement and uphold kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service
  • Develop and curate menu items in line with seasonal offerings
  • Lead kitchen meetings to communicate objectives and gather feedback

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar role in the restaurant industry
  • Strong culinary background with a passion for high-quality food
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school degree is a plus
