This full-time, on-site role is ideal for culinary professionals looking to thrive in a high-volume casual dining environment. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly while delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests.

As a Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, lead a talented team, and maintain the highest standards of food quality and safety. Your expertise in culinary techniques and menu planning will directly contribute to our restaurant's success and reputation in the competitive dining industry. We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 annually, along with opportunities for career advancement and a dynamic work atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring quality and efficiency
  • Manage kitchen staff, providing training and mentorship
  • Plan and create innovative menus that appeal to our guests
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation
  • Order and manage inventory to ensure kitchen efficiency
  • Collaborate with management to optimize kitchen workflows
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to meet our high standards
  • Handle customer feedback and make adjustments as needed

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a kitchen management or sous chef role
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for high-volume dining
  • Excellent leadership and team-building abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
