Sales Development Representative

 

 

Qualifying inbound leads and distribute the high-quality opportunities to the relevant team members

Join product demonstrations with other Sales Executives and Sales Managers and continue to support the sales process as required

Run weekly email campaigns to target account lists to generate leads and arrange meetings

You will be qualifying and disqualifying new business opportunities, conducting conversations by phone as well as online or physical meetings

Attending trade shows and industry events to generate new leads and opportunities for the business

Work with Marketing to produce target prospect lists within selected SME verticals

You will be delivering solution presentations/demos to potential clients together with the Sales Managers

Minimum of 1-3 years within the Financial Services / Payments/BAAS/Modern Treasury / SAAS industry

You will be qualifying and disqualifying new business opportunities, conducting conversations by phone as well as online or physical meetings and events

Proven track record of successful full sales cycle execution and delivering against revenue targets

Experience of successfully managing sales engagements/handling 1st stage of sales cycle 

Understanding of the payments ecosystem, trends and innovative payments solutions

Ability to handle objections and the present the product and business in the best way

A passion for the industry; an ongoing interest in the development of the industry and, most importantly drive to deliver

Experience using Salesforce, working in a start-up or FinTech company are all beneficial

You can think creatively about how best to engage new customers

Excellent communication and numeracy skills with the ability to explain issues clearly and simply, both orally and in writing

Adept at facilitating discussions to resolve client objections

Able to demonstrate a high degree of passion and energy whilst maintaining a positive outlook
