While this is a new role, there is an existing very strong team of sales resources for you to provide direction as well as approx 4 strong admin staff to support you. What you will be doing: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies, plans, and forecasts to achieve ambitious revenue targets and market expansion goals. Lead, mentor, and manage the national and international sales teams, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous development. Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities and partnerships. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform product development and sales strategy. Oversee key account management and ensure strong relationships with major retail partners and distributors. Manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost control. Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Development, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and cohesive market strategies. Regularly report on sales performance, market conditions, and strategic initiatives to the Executive Leadership team. What our client is looking for: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Head of Sales, VP of Sales, Sales Director), preferably within the premium retail or apparel sector. Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth. Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
