The Events and Business Development Support Intern supports our Corporate Engagement and Enterprise Sales work via fostering deep and meaningful connections with Fortune 500 companies to innovative startups, to build a robust talent pipeline for now and the future.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive person to assist with data entry and coordination for our sales team, manage and facilitate corporate events, and conduct market, company, and individual research to support our business development initiatives. This role will support sales enablement with LMS administration and coordination of enablement tech and tools. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in sales operations, event management, and business development.

  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Experience and knowledge of business-to-business lead generation, sales processes, and account management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales team with accurate and timely data entry into CRM systems.
  • Maintain and update sales records, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Support the preparation of sales reports and analytics.
  • Coordinate logistics for corporate events, including scheduling, online venue arrangements, and attendee communications.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for all participants.
  • Facilitate virtual events by managing registrations, materials, and follow-up activities.
  • Conduct research on market trends, potential clients, and industry developments to support business development efforts.
  • Gather and analyze data on companies and individuals to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Prepare research reports and presentations for the wider Revenue team including Sales, and Development.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn.
