New Product of Phyllo — Clayface (https://clayface.ai/) is building the intelligence layer for CPG teams. We are looking for a GTM Engineer to own and operate our demand generation engine from the ground up. You will combine AI tools, data enrichment platforms, and a builder's mindset to design a high-performing outbound system - no prior sales experience required. What matters is intellectual curiosity, a bias for action, and the ability to learn fast in an ambiguous environment.
About the Role
~1 min readWe are looking for driven and detail-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic sales team for Clayface. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential leads, conducting market research, and initiating meaningful outreach to build a strong sales pipeline. Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Cold Calling: Make outbound calls to prospects, introducing them to our offerings, and qualifying leads through effective conversations.
- →Lead Qualification: Identify, nurture, and qualify new leads from various channels (cold calls, email outreach, LinkedIn etc.)
- →Sales Tools Knowledge: Utilize a variety of sales tools (CRM, outreach platforms, lead generation tools, etc.) to track, manage, and update prospect information effectively.
- →Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives and Sales teams to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads and alignment on sales strategies.
- →Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized pipeline, tracking prospect interactions and conversion progress in the CRM system.
- →Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed lead generation and qualification targets set by the sales team.
- 1-3 years experience in a B2B Sales Development or SDR role, specifically in the US, UK & EMEA SaaS industry.
- Proven expertise in cold calling with a track record of successfully identifying and nurturing prospects into qualified leads.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with the ability to engage prospects and convey product value effectively.
- Bonus points if you have worked in a SaaS Startup and covered the end to end process of sales.
- Comfortable working in a Hybrid Environment: Ability to work both from the office (Bengaluru) 2 days in a week.
