Chef de Partie

Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre is looking for experienced and motivated Chef de Partie  to join our team.  Whilst primarily supporting our hotel restaurant, 'Wellingtons', we need an adaptable chef that can flexibly support across our other busy kitchens (including Banquets and Pastry).

What we need from you:

• Minimum of 2 years experience at a Chef de Partie level.
• We're looking for people who have experience across different kitchens, such as Hotel restaurant environments as well as Banquet/conferencing kitchens. 
• The successful applicant will be responsible for (but not limited to) prep for service (whether in the restaurant, banquet or pastry kitchen), minimising wastage and maintaining a clean and safe working area
• Excellent time management and works well under pressure
• An eye for detail and high standard of cleanliness
• Be a team player and excellent communicator
• Have a positive can-do attitude and bring your best every day
• A qualification in Food Cookery or Culinary Arts is essential. 
• The ability to work a flexible roster (across morning & evening, Monday-Sunday)
• Must have the right to work in NZ

📅 Position available:  We are recruiting for a 32 hour (per week) role.
