Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Used Truck Sales Manager, the Used Truck Salesman is responsible for selling used equipment, revenue generation, and achieving customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, e-mail and networking.

Maintains detailed and accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities.

Gathers and submits detailed business information for pricing and presents solutions to identified prospects.

Able to write accurate used truck appraisals.

Required skills.

Knowledge in the heavy truck-equipment industry
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good organizational and time management skills
High energy level, self-starting and highly motivated
Driver's license in good standing
Helps to maintain the Used Truck lot.
Other duties as assigned
