Skincare Sales & Operations Coordinator

Driving direct-to-consumer and business-to-business growth, this remote role is central to launching and expanding a conscious skincare brand in the South African market. Designed for a hands-on coordinator, this position blends business development with direct oversight of supply chain, inventory management, and local fulfilment. This is a three-month initial contract, approximately 15 hours per week. There is potential for expanded responsibilities as commercial traction grows. It offers a great opportunity to grow with the business. Key Responsibilities Commercial & Business Development Identify, target, and convert strategic business opportunities across South Africa within both direct-to-consumer (DTC) and business-to-business (B2B) distribution channels. Present, promote, and position product offerings to prospective retail partners, stockists, and direct consumers. Build, maintain, and report on a qualified pipeline of sales prospects, tracking engagement and conversion metrics. Synthesize customer feedback and deliver actionable market intelligence regarding industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape activities. Recommend continuous refinements for pricing structures, brand positioning, go-to-market strategies, and sales channel product-market fit. Logistics & Operations Monitor, audit, and manage physical inventory levels at the primary storage facility in Johannesburg, generating regular stock reports. Oversee end-to-end supply chain activities, including stock receipt, inventory dispatch, product kitting, order fulfilment, and delivery scheduling. Manage relationships and daily operational communications with external courier and delivery logistics providers. Perform urgent or ad-hoc local product hand-deliveries across the Johannesburg metropolitan area when required. Requirements Certificate / Diploma or Degree in Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Prior experience or a strong affinity with conscious, ethical, eco-friendly, or natural skincare and beauty brands. Proven mid-level experience spanning commercial sales, business development, and operational/inventory logistics, ideally within skincare, cosmetics, or consumer goods (FMCG). Demonstrated capacity to manage B2B client acquisition pipelines alongside DTC sales processes. Hands-on understanding of inventory control, order fulfilment workflows, and courier coordination. Valid South African driver's license and reliable personal transport for local client visits and stock deliveries in the Johannesburg region. Ability to work autonomously in a remote setup while maintaining tight alignment with key business outcomes.
