This is a remote position that will report to the Industrial Fabrics Sales Director.   POSITION SUMMARY In this role, the Strategic Business Development Manager will focus on expanding the Seaman Integrated Solutions dba Lightweight Manufacturing business. The role involves building relationships with key decision-makers across industry owners, engineering firms, architectural firms, fabricators, and contractors to influence use of Seaman Corporation’s services and architectural products. The individual filling this position will work independently and be a critical contributor to our expanding business. Ideal candidates will have experience navigating complex sales cycles within these key segments, an understanding of engineering and architectural principles, and the ability to collaborate across customer and partner ecosystems. This person should possess knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and procurement processes, particularly in the architectural market.  Including tension structures, architectural facades, and frame structures.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Build and manage a portfolio of customers and partners within these key industry segments, including owners, engineering firms, consultants, contractors, fabricators and installers when needed Develop and maintain relationships with key industry decision-makers to create a network that promotes Seaman Corporation products Work collaboratively with key stakeholders within the organization to ensure scope of deliverables, timelines, and budgetary demands Develop and implement sales strategies for segments, working with fellow Strategic Business Development Managers and the Direct Sales teams to drive compliance and growth in sales and ensure brand awareness Independently pitch and close complex sales presentations Conduct negotiations with major companies and key decision makers at the senior executive level and C-Suite Identify opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to fully support customer goals Oversee sales performance to meet and exceed target sales goals Ensure accurate pipeline management and forecasting   REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related discipline 10+ years of experience selling within the architectural market, preferably with a focus on structural fabrics or related architectural services Proven capabilities in growing relationships at the senior executive level and C-Suite for global Fortune 500 companies Demonstrated ability to develop opportunities and close new business or expansion sales Successful track record of achieving immediate credibility; presenting varying ideas to create value and challenge the status quo; and able to think quickly, listen well, and understand how to react and modify approach in front of clients and other key influencers   COMPETENCIES To perform the job successfully, an individual should be aligned with our company values and demonstrate the following competencies: Do What’s Right Safety: Safety is our priority and everyone’s responsibility.
