We powered conversations for DoorDash, Match Group, Noom, Yahoo Sports, Rakuten, and thousands of others. We were good at what we did. Really good.
We also saw it early: AI would fundamentally reshape how businesses talk to customers. The infrastructure we'd spent a decade building would become commoditized. The value would move up the stack—into intelligence, into experience, into outcomes.
We had a choice: protect what we built, or reinvent ourselves.
We chose reinvention.
In December 2024, we made the full strategic pivot to AI-first customer experience. By February 2025, we'd launched our AI agent for enterprise CX—built on a decade of conversation data, now with intelligence on top. And in November 2025, we rebranded to Delight.ai.
The name says it all. AI's real promise isn't efficiency or cost savings. It's giving customers back something they lost—the feeling of being truly understood and cared for. Not satisfied. Delighted.
Delight.ai is the AI concierge for customer experience. Most AI agents forget you the moment the conversation ends. Ours doesn't. Delight.ai builds memory over time, learns preferences, and connects context across every channel—chat, SMS, email, voice, WhatsApp—without losing the thread. AI is reshaping how businesses communicate with customers, and most companies haven't figured out what that means for them yet. That's the opening. Sendbird just made a full pivot to AI-first customer experience, and enterprise buyers are actively rethinking their CX stack. The window to get in front of them is right now.
We're building the sales team that will define Sendbird's next chapter. That means we need people who can do more than run a process. People who challenge how a customer thinks, show them what's possible with AI-powered conversations, and close deals that move the needle. If you're already using AI to work faster, prospect smarter, and sell more, you'll fit right in.
You'll own the full enterprise sales cycle, from sourcing your own pipeline to closing high six- and seven-figure deals with some of the most complex organizations in the world. This isn't an order-taking role. The right person thrives on building, moves fast, and treats every deal like it's their company on the line.
- You build your own pipeline and prefer it that way. Inbound is a bonus, not a dependency
- You use AI tools actively, whether that's automating research, enriching accounts, or generating outreach at scale, to do more with less
- You challenge customers' assumptions rather than validating them, and you're comfortable being the smartest voice in the room about their own problem
- You navigate multi-stakeholder deals across product, engineering, CX, and procurement without losing momentum or the thread
- You think in terms of outcomes, not features, and can translate technical capability into business impact on the fly
- You carry urgency into everything without needing a manager to set the pace
- You learn new categories quickly and get genuinely curious about the industries you sell into
- You treat a lost deal as data, not a setback, and come back sharper
- 5 to 8 years of technology sales experience with a proven track record of closing complex, enterprise-level deals
- Consistent success closing high six- to seven-figure contracts in a solution sales environment
- Experience running outbound-led, self-sourced pipeline development at enterprise scale
- Demonstrated ability to run multi-threaded sales cycles across technical and business stakeholders
- Working fluency with AI tools, whether for prospecting, pipeline enrichment, outreach automation, or research. You don't need to build agents from scratch, but you need to be actively using AI in your workflow
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Source, qualify, and close enterprise deals end-to-end, using AI-assisted prospecting and enrichment tools to build and move pipeline faster
- →Build and maintain a 3 to 5x qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting, network activation, and strategic account targeting
- →Consult with enterprise product, engineering, and CX leaders on how AI-powered conversations can transform their customer experience
- →Challenge customers' current thinking. Push them beyond what they came in asking for toward what they actually need
- →Navigate complex, multi-threaded buying processes at top-tier companies without losing deal momentum
- →Partner cross-functionally with Solutions Engineering, Marketing, and Product to land and position deals effectively
- →Maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene and forecasting accuracy so leadership can trust what you're telling them
- →Contribute to building the playbook. You'll be an early member of a high-performing sales team and your patterns will shape how we scale
- Formal SaaS sales training in a highly competitive environment
- Background at a top-tier professional firm (investment banking, management consulting, or similar)
- Experience selling AI, customer support, or customer experience software
- Prior exposure to selling into enterprise developer and product teams
- Vertical industry knowledge in communities, live-streaming, on-demand, ecommerce, or gaming
- Hands-on experience with AI workflow tools such as Make, Zapier, or n8n to automate parts of your sales process
