OperationsProject Manager

Seoul Robotics builds autonomous driving systems for factories, ports, logistics yards, and airports. We offer two approaches: a vehicle-centric system, where autonomy runs on the vehicle itself, and an infrastructure-centric system, where the site coordinates and drives vehicles. That lets us automate whole operations, not just one vehicle at a time.

We work with global automakers and industry leaders, including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Volvo CE, Mando, LG, and SKT. We are expanding quickly across ports, logistics yards, and airports.

We are an international team with members from more than 10 countries. English is our working language.

We're looking for a Project Manager to run several autonomous driving projects at once, each with a different customer, site, and stage. Some are early proofs of concept. Others are multi-year programs with regular releases, on-site deployments, and contract renewals.
You'll be the single point of contact between our customers and our engineering teams. You'll turn customer needs into a clear plan, keep vision, motion, systems, application, and QA moving together, and make sure we deliver what we promised, on time.
Our projects change as the technology and our customers' plans evolve, so the role suits someone who is comfortable with ambiguity and enjoys bringing structure to it.

Responsibilities

~2 min read
  • →
Run customer projects end to end
    • →Own the plan, scope, timeline, and deliverables for several projects at once
    • →Host regular syncs with customers and partners: set the agenda, prepare materials, lead the discussion, and follow up with clear minutes and action items
    • →Track open questions and requests from customers, route them to the right engineer, and make sure they are answered
    • →Keep stakeholders on both sides aligned on status, risks, and next steps
    Coordinate engineering delivery
    • →Break customer requirements into work packages with owners and target dates, and map them to our release cycles
    • →Work with team leads across vision, motion, systems, application, and QA to prioritize, unblock work, and resolve conflicts between projects
    • →Keep Jira and Confluence accurate and useful, so anyone can see where a project stands
    Plan and lead on-site work
    • →Plan customer site visits for deployments, testing, and demos: dates, attendees, agenda, equipment, and travel logistics
    • →Lead on-site sessions with customers, and share the results internally and externally afterwards
    Support the commercial side
    • →Write technical proposals and statements of work for new phases of a project, together with engineering and leadership
    • →Support pricing, quotations, purchase orders, invoicing, and acceptance documents with customers, partners, and our finance team
    • →Spot opportunities to expand existing projects, and support new customer pursuits with proposals and presentations

Requirements

~2 min read
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, program management, or a technical client-facing role
  • Track record of managing several projects or stakeholders in parallel and delivering against commitments
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams; comfortable learning a technical system well enough to explain it to customers
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and evolving scope
  • Self-motivated and proactive: you chase down answers rather than waiting for them
  • Willing to travel regularly to customer sites (mainly Japan and Korea)

  • Japanese language skills
  • Korean language skills
  • Background in robotics, autonomous systems, sensors, or other deep-tech or hardware/software products
  • Experience writing technical proposals or managing contracts and purchase orders
  • Experience working with customers through a reseller or distribution partner
  • International living, study, or work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business, or a related field

What Success Looks Like
In your first 3 months
  • You own the weekly rhythm of our active customer projects: syncs, minutes, action tracking, and status reporting
  • You know our system architecture and each project's history well enough to answer most customer questions or route them correctly
In your first 12 months
  • You've led at least one on-site customer deployment or demo from planning through follow-up
  • You've written or co-written a proposal for a new project phase
  • Customers and engineering leads see you as the person who keeps their projects on track
