Ogilvy Social.Lab (OSL) is the social-first creative agency within the Ogilvy network, headquartered at the WPP Campus in Brussels. We partner with leading international and Belgian brands, including Unilever, Absolut, Mondelez, Ford, IKEA, Hey, and EU and Belgian institutions. Our work spans social, integrated campaigns, events, and brand platforms. We build for the long term, not just the feed.

 

We are looking for an experienced and driven Account Manager to join one of our most active and high-visibility account teams. You will be the operational backbone of the team, managing complex, multi-workstream programmes across social, production, and integrated moments, while building a direct and trusted relationship with a demanding, engaged client.

You will work closely with an Account Director and mentor junior members of the team. This is a role that rewards rigour, initiative, and the ability to bring structure and clarity to a fast-moving environment.

 

Responsibilities

Client leadership

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for your clients, building trust-based relationships at multiple levels of their organisations.
  • Stay close to their business realities - proactive, visible, and always one step ahead.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each brand's market, competitive landscape, positioning, and tone of voice.
  • Coordinate fluently with partner and multi-agency setups as required.

Project ownership

  • Own end-to-end project management across a wide variety of projects - from always-on social and content series to productions, campaigns, and integrated briefs - from brief to delivery.
  • Review all deliverables with a sharp eye for brand consistency, production quality, and creative integrity.
  • Keep all stakeholders, internal and external, aligned, informed, and unblocked.
  • Maintain clear written briefs, shared project planning, and structured debriefs for every project.

Creative & strategic collaboration

  • Brief, inspire, and champion the creative team - generating enthusiasm and maintaining trust throughout each project.
  • Contribute actively to strategies that go beyond social: integrated campaigns and broader brand thinking.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies on integrated moments, ensuring OSL's social-first thinking strengthens the wider campaign ecosystem.
  • Bring proactive ideas to clients. This role rewards initiative.

Financial & operational management

  • Manage budgets across multiple concurrent workstreams with full transparency - tracking, flagging, and reporting with rigour.
  • Own billing, invoicing, and PO processes; maintain a clear and shared financial overview of all activity.
  • Anticipate and resolve project challenges early, keeping your Account Director and Business Director informed with context and a recommendation - not just a problem.

 

  • 5+ years of experience in advertising, communications, or a related agency environment, with hands-on expertise in social and digital campaigns.
  • A track record of managing complex accounts; you are comfortable on set, in client meetings, and in budget reviews.
  • Experience navigating cross-agency or multi-partner environments; you know how to collaborate without losing sight of your brand's interest.
  • Strategic instincts that extend beyond social — curious about ATL, integrated campaigns, and broader brand thinking.
  • Proficient in French or Dutch, with a strong working knowledge of the other language. Fluent in English.
  • A natural relationship-builder with strong people skills, with clients, creatives, and agency partners alike.
  • Highly organised and delivery-focused: you keep projects on time, on budget, and on brief without losing your energy or creativity.
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and comfortable in an agile, fast-moving environment.
  • Genuinely passionate about social media, content, and the creative process.
