About the Role

The focus of this role is to drive sales and manage strategic accounts within the FMCG sector, covering both the South African domestic market and export markets across the SADC region and other African territories. This is a hands-on, client-facing role requiring strong market knowledge, relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in FMCG sales.

Manage and grow key accounts in South Africa and across export markets.

Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company targets and regional priorities.

Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities within the FMCG sector.

Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management for assigned accounts.

Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, marketing, operations) to deliver solutions and drive account success.

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and export opportunities to inform strategy.
Requirements

Minimum +6 years experience in FMCG sales / key account management.

Strong understanding of the South African market, SADC region, and broader African export markets.

Proven track record of selling into retail, wholesale, or distributor networks.

Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.

Ability to work onsite in Johannesburg and travel regionally as required.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
