Our client, a rapidly growing frozen fruit product company, is seeking an energetic, charismatic sales professional to drive distribution and sales growth within the U.S. market, with a specific focus on Latin American and Hispanic customer segments.

The Regional Sales Representative will be the key driver of expansion with regional distributors and smaller chain accounts. This is an execution-focused role requiring strong prospecting, outreach, and relationship-building skills to significantly expand the distribution footprint of our client’s products.

Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion: Identify, qualify, and target new regional distributor and smaller chain account prospects, focusing heavily on opportunities within the Hispanic/Latin American market segments.

  • Lead Generation & Outreach: Conduct effective lead generation and outreach activities to engage potential customers and introduce the value proposition of our client’s frozen fruit products.

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with distributors and smaller chains through personable, consultative, and reliable service.

  • Consultative Selling: Understand customer business needs and pain points to strategically position our client’s products as the optimal solution for their inventory and consumer base.

  • Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate contract terms and effectively close new business opportunities to meet aggressive growth targets.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with the corporate sales team on integrating regional strategies with larger national account initiatives.

  • Market Intelligence: Provide continuous market intelligence, competitive insights, and valuable customer feedback to the broader team to inform product and strategy development.

  • Performance: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and goals.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional sales experience, preferably within the food/beverage or produce industry.

  • Bilingual Fluency (Mandatory): Fluent in Spanish and English, with proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally with Hispanic and Latin American customers and business partners.

  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of success in relationship-driven, consultative selling environments.

  • Personality: Outgoing, charismatic personality with the ability to quickly build rapport and establish trust.

  • Core Skills: Strong prospecting, negotiation, and contract closing skills.

  • Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the U.S. regional distributor and smaller chain account landscape.

  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time within the assigned territory.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
