Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Design and execute aggressive sales strategies focused on group bookings (15 rooms and under), meetings, events, and catering to rapidly grow revenue across all outlets.
- →Build, coach, and lead a new sales team (2 Sales Managers and 2 Sales Coordinators), transitioning from a solo operation into a structured, high-output sales engine.
- →Set and crush ambitious revenue targets, manage robust pipelines in Salesforce, and consistently deliver against a $120k OTE (base + commission).
- →Develop deep client relationships while partnering with marketing, revenue management, and operations to drive occupancy and elevate the entire resort experience.
- →Use sharp analytical skills to interpret financials, market trends, and forecasts, uncovering new opportunities, especially around the resort's bold new restaurants and refreshed offerings.
- →Represent the resort with humility and professionalism in the community and industry.
- →Embrace a flexible, entrepreneurial mindset. This is not a 9 to 5 position. Success demands presence when it matters, including evenings and weekends, particularly in the critical first 30 days as you immerse yourself in the property.
About the Role
~1 min readThis is a rare, ground-floor leadership opportunity. The resort is undergoing a complete revitalization: a full remodel and refresh, new vibrant dining concepts, outsourced housekeeping and engineering, and a renewed focus on luxury guest experiences. Under strong GM leadership, this is the perfect moment for a smart, hungry, and humble sales leader to build a best-in-class sales team from scratch and leave a lasting mark on a transforming property. If you're energized by change, love building systems and teams, and are motivated by tangible results rather than needing constant direction, this role is built for you.
Requirements
~1 min read- 4+ years of progressive hospitality sales experience, with a strong background in resorts or luxury hotels. Marriott sales environment experience would be a very strong plus.
- 3+ years of proven sales leadership experience, including building and developing high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated success driving group sales, meetings, banquets, and F&B catering.
- High proficiency with Salesforce and strong financial acumen.
- A smart, hungry, and humble approach: analytical yet action-oriented, confident but coachable.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 to 30 lbs.
I am a smart, hungry, and humble sales leader who is genuinely excited by this challenge. I combine strategic thinking with relentless drive, whether it's building a sales team from zero, capturing new group and event business, or helping establish this resort as the clear luxury leader in the market. I thrive in periods of significant change, roll up my sleeves from day one, and am deeply committed to delivering strong results while developing and elevating those around me.
