Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment and processes.
Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.

Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs and related automation equipment.
Develop and implement control strategies to optimize manufacturing processes.

Specify and select electrical components and hardware for new and existing systems.
Manage the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.

Provide technical support to the manufacturing team to resolve electrical and control issues.
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from concept to completion.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for electrical systems, including schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
Ensure all electrical systems and processes comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.).
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and hardware systems.
- Experience with industrial automation and control systems.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment.
Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

This position may require working in various environments, including production floors, control rooms, and maintenance areas.
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.
Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as required.
