Mr D - Retail Account Manager

Mr D, a division of the Takealot Group, is looking for a highly talented Retail Account Manager to join our teams in Cape Town.

• →Identify and prioritise suitable partners for the Mr D platform
• →Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline
• →Own the partner sign-up process
• →Operate as the lead point of contact for shops partners
• →Strengthen relationships with partners and monitor their business and store performance
• →Ensure timeous and effective solutions and feedback to partners
• →Ensure strict partner visit standards are maintained
• →Source promotions from partners that align with business objectives
• →Deliver against hub and regional advertising goals 
• →Educate partners on available advertising tools and ensure uptake across a portfolio of partners 

• Excellent communication skills
• A highly customer-focused mindset and consultative sales approach
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills
• Exhibit the ability to self motivate

• Ability to work and keep up in a fast paced environment
• Accurate
• Must have own transport and drivers license

• Experience in marketplace, ecommerce SAAS or retail sales
• Minimum 2 year Prior sales experience
• Proficiency in using CRM tools (Not essential)
• Prior experience in the hospitality industry (Not essential)
• Tertiary qualification (Not essential)
