The Agency Sales Manager is responsible for the growth, retention and profitability of business within a single agency office. Activities performed include recruiting, training, motivating, managing and leading District Sales Managers and Sales Professionals. Directs activity necessary to develop the sales agency.

Responsibilities

· Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field preferred.

· Prior sales experience within the Insurance industry required.

· Minimum 4 years experience leading other sales management and sales professionals is preferred.

· Senior market product experience is required. Expertise preferred in all lines of Senior market products including, but not limited to: Medical Supplement, Med Advantage, Prescription Drug Program, Annuity, Final Expense and Long Term Care.

· Experience building a “career” or “captive” type agency is preferred.

· Licensed as a Health and Life insurance agent to sell insurance in the state(s) within assigned territory.

· Completion of all required ARS training as directed.
