Allegion Canada is currently looking for a Territory Sales Consultant to join our winning team in Western Canada. As Territory Sales Consultant based in BC, you will: Drive and generate new business; provide sales support to the distributors in the assigned territory; assist and educate end-users on the application, installation, and maintenance of all product lines.

Allegion products help keep people safe and secure where they live, work and visit. With more than 25 highly recognizable brands sold globally like Schlage, LCN, Von Duprin, Glynn Johnson, Locknetics, Ives etc., we specialize in security and accessibility around the doorway and adjacent area: everything from residential locks and portable security to commercial locks, exit devices, openers and closers, electronic access control and workforce productivity solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Represent all product lines of the Company to the assigned distributors, architects, and end-users within the territory

  • Assist in the establishment of short and long-range goals for the territory in total and by customer

  • Provide sales support & professional level account management to established distributors (multi-branch accounts) within the assigned territory

  • Develop a territory business plan and customized business plans for all accounts to include the following: dealer targets, product training, investment strategies, and revenue goals

  • Support the business marketing strategies by providing accurate and timely sales reports and competitive information to the Regional Sales Organization to assist in maintaining accurate competitor product / price lists

  • Maintain and utilize CRM tool for roles reporting and to communicate sales activities.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Consultative, solution-based sales experience with similar/relevant industries and products

  • University or College graduate or equivalent years of professional experience

  • Experience with highly collaborative team-selling environments

  • Demonstrated aptitude for digital tools (CRM, Power BI, MS Office)

  • Demonstrated capability to work with mature databases, generate new partnerships and maximize pipeline of opportunities within existing accounts

  • Experience with demand creation & selling in a remote environment

  • Experience with channel-based sales in a similar environment highly preferred

  • Ability to travel: 70% within Canada and the US

  • Must have a valid drivers license

  • AI is used in applicant screening or selection.
