Territory Manager - Distribution
Quick Summary
White goods, Garments, FMCG & Luxury Brands Specific experience in handling distributors will be preferred. 3-6 years of relevant experience.
Distributor Management
- Planning the geographical penetration and product strategy to achieve planned numbers.
- Educating and upgrading the distributors' infrastructure like Warehouse, Stocking Logistics, and manpower to meet the present and future demands
Inventory planning to ensure the availability of the right stock at the distributors and stores serviced by the distributor and assist in clearing non-moving stocks
- Ensure receivables are maintained at agreed levels for both distributors and outlets served by him.
- Selecting, training, and monitoring the distributors' sales team to ensure their effectiveness
- Conducting Competition and market mapping at frequent intervals to study market movements.
Identify new distributors for business enhancement and continue generating sales through existing distributors.
- Ability to manage the relevant business of the assigned territory through a distributor or a set of distributors.
Planning the sales of each counter serviced by the distributor and helping them in achieving the planned numbers
Monitor sell-throughs from the sub dealers and ensure that promotions and VM are done as per the guideline.
Ensuring the distributor’s sales force are following the PJP and servicing the outlets as desired
Maintain & develop relations with trade associates.
Operation Management

- Specific experience in handling distributors will be preferred.
- 3-6 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of the territory to be handled in terms of existing markets, upcoming markets, and untapped markets
