Compensation: $90,000–$110,000 annually, with flexibility up to $120,000 for a highly experienced senior-level candidate

Atwell is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to support our growing operations in Florida. This is a mid-level HR opportunity for someone who enjoys partnering closely with business leaders, supporting employees, and helping shape the employee experience across a growing organization.

We strongly prefer candidates located near our Bonita Springs or Fort Myers offices who are comfortable working in a hybrid environment and spending time in the office with the teams they support.

In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted HR partner to operational leaders and employees, providing guidance across employee relations, talent development, performance management, compensation, workforce planning, employee engagement, and organizational growth.

You’ll also have the opportunity to support Atwell’s continued expansion through acquisitions and employee integrations.

Responsibilities

As an HR Business Partner, you will:

  • Build strong relationships with leaders, managers, and employees across the business.

  • Provide guidance and coaching on employee relations, performance concerns, team dynamics, and employee development.

  • Support the employee lifecycle from onboarding and development through retention and offboarding.

  • Partner with leaders on performance management, career development, succession planning, and employee growth.

  • Monitor employee engagement and identify opportunities to strengthen the overall employee experience.

  • Support stay interviews and exit interviews, identify trends, and help leaders develop appropriate action plans.

  • Review HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, performance reviews, engagement, and exit data to identify trends and provide useful insights.

  • Partner with Atwell’s HR Centers of Excellence, including benefits, onboarding and offboarding, leaves, compliance, talent management, and compensation.

  • Review compensation and internal equity information and provide recommendations when appropriate.

  • Support employee recognition, engagement, learning and development, and culture initiatives.

  • Serve as a resource to employees and leaders while helping ensure HR policies and practices are applied consistently across the organization.

As Atwell continues to grow, this role may also support our acquisition and integration efforts, including:

  • Participating in HR due diligence and employee integration activities.

  • Comparing benefits, policies, handbooks, and employee programs.

  • Supporting newly acquired employees as they transition into Atwell.

  • Partnering with leaders and HR teams to execute integration plans.

  • Helping ensure consistent application of company policies and HR practices across acquired organizations.

  • Tracking integration activities and communicating progress, risks, and outstanding items.

Some travel, including occasional overnight travel, may be required.

We’re looking for an HR professional who brings strong business partnership skills, sound judgment, and the ability to build trusted relationships with both employees and leaders.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Approximately 5–8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, ideally including HR Business Partner or similar responsibilities.

  • Experience supporting managers and business or operational leaders.

  • Working knowledge of employee relations, performance management, talent management, compensation, and employee engagement.

  • The ability to coach leaders through people-related challenges and sensitive employee matters.

  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience using HR data and metrics to identify trends and support business decisions.

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • A collaborative mindset with the confidence to work independently and exercise sound judgment.

  • Willingness and ability to travel periodically.

Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or employee integrations is a plus, but is not required.

For candidates bringing deeper HR Business Partner experience, significant acquisition/integration exposure, or broader senior-level HR expertise, we are open to considering compensation up to $120,000.

This position will support Atwell’s Florida operations, with a preference for candidates located near Bonita Springs or Fort Myers.

The role will follow a hybrid work arrangement, with regular time spent in the office and with the teams supported by this position.

Candidates should be within a reasonable commuting distance of one of these locations or willing to relocate to the area.

What We Offer

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $90,000–$110,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.

For a particularly strong senior-level candidate with significant HR Business Partner, leadership advisory, or acquisition/integration experience, compensation may be considered up to $120,000.
