Event Sales Street Team Representative

 

ATCO Energy is launching an onsite Event Sales Street Team to support in-person activations across Alberta. In this role, you will work closely with Marketing to represent ATCO Energy at shopping malls, sporting events, home shows, and community events. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who thrive on customer interaction, are motivated by sales targets, and are looking to build hands-on, customer-facing sales experience.
Given the nature of event-based work, the majority of activations take place during evenings and weekends, when customer traffic is highest and there are strong opportunities for engagement and conversion.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a frontline ambassador for ATCO Energy at live, in-person events
  • Proactively engage customers with confident, friendly conversations
  • Clearly explain ATCO Energy plans, pricing, and value proposition
  • Support onsite customer enrollments and lead generation
  • Contribute to individual and team acquisition targets
  • Partner with Marketing and Operations teams on event execution and continuous improvement
  • Assist with setup and teardown of event booths and kiosks
  • Represent the ATCO Energy brand professionally at all times

 

  • Outgoing and confident interacting with the public in busy environments
  • Motivated by goals, targets, and performance outcomes
  • Strong communication and customer-focused mindset
  • Resilient and adaptable in fast-paced, high-energy settings
  • Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Interest in skill development and growth
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, promotions, or events is an asset but not required

What We Offer

$20/hour base pay
$10 commission per completed customer sign-up (paid monthly)
Additional performance-based incentives

Collaborate with Marketing and Operations on a high-visibility initiative
Develop transferable skills in relationship-building and performance delivery
  • Part-time / casual contract role
  • Primarily evenings and weekends
  • Events across Alberta (local travel required)
  • Shifts are scheduled in advance based on the event calendar, with consideration for availability where possible
