Inside sales / Customer Service
Experienced and highly productive Inside Sales Representative, who can effectively manage larger volume accounts while growing and taking care of our customers.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Responsible for managing the day-to-day orders to provide the best in service to our customers.
- →Handle incoming sales call/email requests and promptly answer customer requests.
- →Able to check inventory, future rolling's, production to be able to accurately quote customers.
- →Enter orders, check status, and make costumer aware of any changes to the status of the material.
- →Work to meet the sales goals provided by the customer and the Vulcan sales team.
- →Develop new customers and accounts, reach out to existing customers to grow business.
- →Maintain and monitor customers activity within your assigned accounts.
- →Keep mistakes to a bare minimum, accuracy is a must.
- →Work closely with the Market Managers, Scheduling, Quoting departments for updated pricing, specification review, and quoting lead times to customers.
- →Back up Sales team when needed, answer phones, respond to emails and take care of the customers when a teammate is absent.
- →Travel as needed and meet with customers of Vulcan Steel Products

- Ability to identify and research accounts, key players, and generate interest to grow existing accounts along with cultivating new ones.
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers
Nice to Have
~1 min read- 3+ years of sales experience in the metals industry
- 2-4 year degree
