Job Description – Business Development Representative (BDR), Real Estate Division / Department: Sales Reports to (position): National Strategic Sales Manager Level / Grade: Individual Contributor Location: Remote  Employment Type: Full Time, Exempt Work Conditions: Remote Office Environment Travel: Up to 10%, as necessary Telecommute: Yes Minimum Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience Years of Experience: 1–3 years of relevant sales, business development, or customer‑facing experience Position Summary The CE Shop is seeking a motivated and results‑driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to support revenue growth within the real estate sector. This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities through high‑volume outbound prospecting and re‑engaging existing real estate partners—including agents, brokerages, associations, and real estate schools—that have not produced recent revenue. The ideal candidate is persistent, relationship‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven sales environment. This position plays a critical role in building pipeline, revitalizing dormant accounts, and supporting overall sales growth within the real estate line of business. Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities Outbound Prospecting Conduct high‑volume outbound outreach through phone calls, email campaigns, and social channels to real estate associations, brokerages, and schools Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories and markets Clearly communicate value propositions tailored to real estate professionals and organizations Schedule discovery meetings and route qualified opportunities to sales leadership Partner Re‑Engagement Identify existing partners and customers with limited or no recent revenue activity Execute targeted outreach campaigns to re‑engage and reactivate inactive accounts Build trusted relationships to uncover new opportunities within dormant real estate partners CRM Management (Salesforce) Maintain accurate, current, and complete records within Salesforce Research and update outdated or incomplete contact and account information Track all outreach activities, notes, and follow‑ups to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy Cross‑Functional Collaboration Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to align messaging and outreach strategy Share field insights, objections, and feedback to support continuous improvement of campaigns and offerings Contribute to overall revenue goals through pipeline generation and opportunity development Skills Required Strong verbal and written communication skills across phone, email, and virtual platforms Comfort with cold calling, objection handling, and persistent outbound outreach Experience using CRM systems; Salesforce preferred Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow‑through Ability to manage multiple priorities in a performance‑based environment Self‑starter mentality with a collaborative, team‑oriented approach Nice to Have Experience supporting or selling into the real estate industry (agents, brokerages, MLSs, associations, or schools) Prior experience with sales engagement tools and outbound prospecting platforms Key Competencies Persistence and resilience in outbound sales activity Relationship‑building and consultative selling skills Strong research, discovery, and problem‑solving abilities Effective time management and prioritization Adaptability, coachability, and openness to feedback Performance Metrics Volume of outbound calls, emails, and total touchpoints Meetings scheduled and qualified opportunities created Reactivation rate of inactive partners and accounts CRM data accuracy and activity tracking compliance Contribution to sales pipeline and revenue targets Supervisory Responsibility This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
