This role demands a seasoned professional with deep industry knowledge and the ability to manage complex sales cycles and technical advisory. The successful candidate will engage in strategic outreach, provide expert consultations, and drive the adoption of solar energy solutions. This is a remote role designed for a leader who can independently innovate while collaborating effectively with diverse teams. Ideal Candidate Profile Experienced in navigating fast-paced, deadline-driven environments Skilled in articulating the technical and economic benefits of solar energy projects to high-level stakeholders Demonstrates a strong ability to lead discussions, influence decisions, and close deals Deeply committed to promoting sustainable energy solutions and environmental conservation Key Responsibilities Lead strategic business development initiatives, focusing on complex sales and high-value client engagements in the solar industry Offer expert advice and technical consultations, tailoring solar solutions to meet client and project-specific needs Spearhead the development of new business opportunities by leveraging industry insights and technical expertise Manage and execute the entire sales cycle from initial client engagement to closing, including proposal development and contract negotiations Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, enhancing client retention and facilitating long-term partnerships Oversee and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the business development team Requirements Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferable Significant experience in the solar energy or renewable energy industry, with a proven track record in technical sales and business development Expertise in using advanced CRM and project management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Capable of handling multiple projects in a dynamic, high-pressure environment
