This role focuses on engaging key decision-makers, including specifiers, contractors, and developers, to promote innovative window solutions and achieve sales targets. Key Responsibilities Develop Strategic Relationships: Build sustainable relationships with architects, planners, contractors, and developers, becoming a trusted advisor on product specifications. Drive Business Growth: Identify new business opportunities through project specifications and work closely with fabricators during the pre-sales phase to close deals. Project Management: Monitor and manage the availability and delivery of products to ensure smooth installation and successful project completion. Market and Product Expertise: Use construction databases to identify opportunities and engage professional teams with tailored solutions. Collaborate with Industry Organizations: Promote the use of uPVC windows as green building materials by working with organizations such as the Green Building Council of South Africa. Reporting & Planning: Regularly report on project status and performance using company management systems. What We Are Looking For Industry Expertise: Experience with windows and construction solutions, particularly in dealing with specifiers, contractors, and wholesalers. Sales Track Record: Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets and manage customer relationships effectively. Technical Sales Skills: Comfortable with technical presentations and familiar with project-specific calculations (technical and commercial). Organizational Skills: A structured, well-organized approach with excellent communication abilities. Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. CRM and Office Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with CRM tools.
