Broadcast Operator

Position: Broadcast Operator

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain all broadcast equipment onboard the cruise ship, including cameras, audio equipment, and video switchers

- Monitor and adjust broadcast signals to ensure high-quality transmission

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during broadcasts

- Coordinate with other departments, such as entertainment and IT, to ensure smooth operation of all broadcast equipment

- Maintain inventory and order necessary supplies for the broadcast department

- Train and supervise other crew members who may assist with broadcast operations

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in broadcast technology

- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations while working onboard the ship

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent, technical or vocational training in broadcast operations preferred

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in broadcast operations, preferably in a live production environment

- Knowledge of broadcast equipment, including cameras, audio equipment, and video switchers

- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Willingness to work long hours and adapt to changing schedules

- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
