Designation: Strategic Account Executive

Location: Mumbai

Business: Hoovers

Function: Sales

Manage the complete sales lifecycle for Dun & Bradstreet’s business intelligence solutions, including Hoovers Database, from prospecting and lead generation through to deal closure and revenue achievement.

Identify, engage, and build relationships with key decision-makers such as CEOs, CFOs, CHROs, Managing Directors, CXOs, Business Heads, and other senior executives through market research, LinkedIn, company websites, and prospecting databases.

Execute high-volume outbound sales activities, leveraging consultative selling techniques to generate qualified leads, schedule meetings, and maintain a strong opportunity pipeline.

Deliver compelling product demonstrations and value-based presentations, effectively communicating solution capabilities, business benefits, and return on investment (ROI) to prospective clients.

Consistently achieve daily activity targets of 60-70 outbound calls and 6-7 qualified meetings while driving monthly and quarterly revenue goals.

Oversee end-to-end sales processes, including lead qualification, needs assessment, stakeholder engagement, proposal discussions, negotiations, and successful deal closures.

Develop and nurture long-term relationships with corporate and SME clients, ensuring high levels of customer engagement and stakeholder management.

Maintain accurate sales reporting by preparing daily MIS updates, tracking prospect interactions, monitoring pipeline health, and sharing progress with internal teams.

Partner with sales, pre-sales, and marketing teams to execute targeted demand-generation initiatives, enhance market outreach, and accelerate conversions.

Conduct post-sales engagement and customer feedback discussions to improve client satisfaction, strengthen retention, and identify upselling opportunities.

Contribute to business growth by providing market intelligence, enriching prospect databases, mapping key accounts, and identifying new revenue opportunities.

Possess 2+ years of experience in business development support, lead generation, appointment setting, or inside sales, with proven expertise in engaging and influencing C-level executives and senior decision-makers.

Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently interact with senior stakeholders and build strong professional relationships.

Hold a graduate degree from a recognized institution in any discipline.

Fluency English oral and written communication

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with a strong focus on maintaining accurate sales records, reporting standards, and CRM hygiene.

A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to achieving shared business objectives.

Capable of effectively coordinating with internal teams and external prospects to drive seamless communication and business outcomes.

Experienced in working cross-functionally, managing multiple priorities, and thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Operate under the guidance and direct supervision of the Team Lead, D&B Hoovers.

Engage and build relationships with Managing Directors (MDs), Directors, CXOs, senior leadership professionals, business owners, and proprietors.

Interact with key decision-makers across corporate organizations to identify opportunities, understand business needs, and support revenue generation initiative
