Job Description Position: Area Sales Manager Company: Roofing Industry / Polycarbonate Sheet Location: Bangalore / Chennai / Surat / Punjab Department: Sales & Business Development Employment Type: Full-Time Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 07:00 PM About the Role: We are seeking driven and experienced Area Sales Managers to lead and expand our business presence across key regions. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening our distribution network, and building strategic relationships with key stakeholders across the roofing and building materials industry. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Target Achievement: Formulate and execute territory-specific sales plans to meet and exceed sales, revenue, and collection targets. Network & Channel Development: Identify, recruit, and manage dealers, distributors, fabricators, and contractors to expand market reach. B2B & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and sustain strong long-term business relationships with architects, PEB contractors, institutional clients, and corporate buyers. Lead Generation & Conversion: Proactively source new business opportunities, handle inquiries, and drive conversion from pipeline to closure. Market Intelligence & Visits: Perform regular field visits across the assigned territory to track competitor activity, pricing dynamics, and market trends. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal operations, dispatch, and finance teams to ensure seamless order execution, timely deliveries, and prompt payment collections. Requirements Experience: 3 to 8 years of proven sales experience in Roofing Sheets, Polycarbonate Sheets, Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), or related Building/Construction Materials. Demographics: Male candidates preferred; Age bracket between 30 to 40 years. Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of B2B sales, channel distribution, and local regional market dynamics. Key Skills: Exceptional negotiation, relationship management, and deal-closing skills. Demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Mobility: High willingness to travel extensively across the designated area/region.
