Technical Sales Representative (Agriculture - Mpumalanga)

Our client, a respected player in the agricultural sector, is seeking a driven and knowledgeable Technical Sales Representative to join their growing team in Mpumalanga. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about agriculture, enjoys building strong customer relationships, and has the technical expertise to support growers with innovative crop solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding market presence, driving sales growth, and providing technical support within designated agricultural regions. Responsibilities: Drive sales growth and achieve annual sales targets across designated customers, crops, product ranges, and distribution channels. Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, growers, and key industry stakeholders to expand market presence and customer engagement. Introduce and promote new agricultural products while providing professional technical support and advice to customers. Manage administrative functions including forecasting, budgeting, reporting, stock coordination, and sales-related documentation. Conduct field visits, oversee product applications, and provide practical support to ensure successful implementation and performance of products. Requirements Bachelors Degree or National Diploma in Agriculture. 3+ years of experience in Agricultural Sales. AVCASA/BASOS certification with practical crop protection experience will be beneficial. Understanding of the Export Fruit Industry, Phytosanitary pests, plant diseases and maxium residual levels in the indsutry. Valid Drivers License. Willing to travel extensively. Strong MS Office skills (GIS skills will be advantageoues).
