THE ROLE
As an Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for B2B clients (retailers and boutiques) ensuring their needs are met, issues are resolved efficiently, and opportunities for business growth are maximized. Your role will involve developing account strategies, analyzing campaign performance, optimizing visibility, and collaborating across internal teams to deliver exceptional results. Success in this role requires strong analytical acumen, client management expertise, and a profound understanding of the product and market dynamics.
- Develop comprehensive business plans and account strategies for assigned wholesale clients to support global channel growth.
- Conceptualize and lead tailored marketing campaigns in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Align wholesale assortment planning with client procurement strategies to maximize sales performance, protect margins, and ensure healthy stock turnover (sell-through) for our clients.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of seasonal performance and sell-through data to identify missed opportunities and develop action plans for future assortments.
- Leverage seasonal insights to refine account strategies, ensuring future orders are optimized for maximum sales and healthy inventory turnover.
- Perform competitive audits across partners with low conversion to refine pricing strategies and improve performance.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing models, and promotional tactics to adapt effectively and maintain market edge.
- Leverage tools such as page view reports, search term data, traffic analytics, and SKU performance metrics to understand customer buying behavior.
- Identify high-performing and underperforming SKUs to optimize product assortment and positioning.
- Maximize wholesale appeal by merging data-driven insights with a keen eye for retail trends and boutique-specific preferences to curate high-performing collections.
- Monitor market fluctuations and product lifecycles to optimize product positioning, ensuring our physical stock remains competitive and perfectly aligned with client demand and seasonal shifts.
- Lead and oversee multiple initiatives, ensuring timelines, resources, and departmental collaboration are managed effectively.
- Coordinate with Product, Finance, Operations, and Data teams to execute high-impact projects and align with business goals as well as balancing price, product assortment, promotions, and operational efficiencies.
- Stay current with market trends, customer preferences, emerging platforms, and competitive dynamics.
- Provide actionable insights to the wider business to support strategic decision-making and identify new growth opportunities.
- Manage top-tier wholesale clients with a focus on achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets.
- Cultivate strong client relationships, serving as the key liaison and trusted advisor for all business matters.
