Farther is a rapidly growing RIA that combines expert advisors with cutting-edge technology - delivering a comprehensive, tailored wealth management experience.

Farther’s founders are leaders and innovators from the private wealth industry who possess a unique blend of traditional wealth management, fintech, and technology production expertise. We’re backed by top-tier venture capital firms, fintech investors, and industry leaders.

Joining Farther means joining a collaborative team of entrepreneurs who are passionate about helping their clients and our teammates achieve more. If you’re the type who breaks through walls to get things done the right way, we want to build the future of wealth management with you.

As a Director on our Advisor Business Development team, you'll build relationships with experienced financial advisors and teams and guide them from first conversation to signed agreement. This is a senior individual contributor seat for someone who has built pipeline the hard way, knows how to run a long sales cycle with sophisticated buyers, and wants their results reflected in their paycheck.

  • Source and engage established advisors and teams through targeted outbound, referrals, and your own network
  • Own the full recruiting cycle, from discovery and platform demos through transition planning and signed agreements
  • Understand each advisor's practice economics, growth goals, and client base, and tailor the Farther story to fit
  • Partner with our transitions, operations, and executive teams to deliver a smooth move for every advisor you bring on
  • Consistently deliver against annual AUM targets with accurate forecasting
  • 5+ years of sales or business development experience, with a consistent record of exceeding quota
  • You've built pipeline through your own outbound efforts, cold calling included
  • Experience running multi-stakeholder sales cycles that take months, not days
  • Motivated by a high-variable comp structure, with clear goals for your career and earnings
  • Bachelor's degree and the flexibility to travel to Dallas for priority prospect meetings
