This on-site role will be embedded within the commercial organization and will support day-to-day marketing execution, market intelligence, target-account development, CRM and marketing operations, digital marketing coordination, content development, and sales enablement.
The specialist will work closely with the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Sales, Project Engineering, Operations, and other internal teams to translate business priorities, customer activity, market intelligence, and growth opportunities into coordinated marketing and business-development activity. The role may also participate in customer visits, trade shows, industry events, and other commercial activities as appropriate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Work closely with Sales, Project Engineering, Operations, Quality, and other internal teams to understand customer activity, quoting trends, strategic opportunities, manufacturing capabilities, and emerging market needs.
- Translate internal business activity and market insights into target-account research, marketing content, CRM activity, digital campaigns, and business-development support.
- Develop account-specific pursuit support, including research briefs, contact maps, program intelligence, messaging, and customer-meeting preparation.
- Participate in customer visits, trade shows, industry events, and other commercial activities as appropriate, including pre-event research and post-event follow-up.
- Coordinate with Sales to ensure relevant marketing engagement, market intelligence, and identified opportunities receive appropriate commercial follow-up.
- Research strategic markets, customers, programs, and emerging opportunities within aerospace, defense, space, and autonomous systems.
- Develop and maintain prioritized target-account lists based on manufacturing fit, growth potential, production timing, strategic value, and accessibility.
- Use CRM data, digital engagement, industry research, public sources, professional networks, third-party data tools, and internal business information to identify companies, facilities, business units, relevant contacts, and growth signals.
- Build account maps and relationship paths across procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, operations, manufacturing engineering, supplier quality, program management, and executive leadership as appropriate.
- Monitor target accounts for growth indicators, new programs, contract activity, facility expansion, hiring, organizational changes, and other potential buying signals.
- Support trade-show and event strategy, including pre-event research, meeting development, account prioritization, and post-event follow-up.
- Own day-to-day marketing administration and strategic use of ActiveCampaign, including account segmentation, contact enrichment, campaign lists, lead/account stages, follow-up workflows, and reporting.
- Establish and maintain CRM discipline so target-account intelligence, contact activity, campaign engagement, meetings, RFQs, and opportunities are visible and actionable.
- Integrate relevant third-party data and research sources into Geater's account-development process while maintaining data quality and avoiding unnecessary contact accumulation.
- Develop repeatable processes that connect market research, digital engagement, CRM activity, and Sales follow-up.
- Coordinate Geater's outsourced SEO, PPC, and website-management programs and help ensure their priorities align with Geater's target markets, manufacturing capabilities, and commercial objectives.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day internal point of contact for external digital-marketing partners, working with the Vice President of Sales & Marketing to establish priorities and evaluate results.
- Provide outside partners with market intelligence, campaign priorities, capability messaging, content inputs, target-market direction, and landing-page needs.
- Review digital performance using metrics such as qualified website traffic, search visibility, conversion activity, cost per click, search terms, landing-page performance, and account-level engagement.
- Evaluate the business value of outsourced digital-marketing spend, with emphasis on whether activity contributes to qualified conversations, meetings, RFQs, opportunities, and orders.
- Develop sufficient working knowledge of SEO, PPC, website analytics, and digital marketing to effectively manage, evaluate, and challenge outside specialists while technical execution remains outsourced where appropriate.
- Develop and execute a coordinated LinkedIn and content program that supports Geater's long-term growth, diversification, employer brand, and target-market priorities.
- Develop an editorial calendar that consistently communicates Geater's manufacturing capability, people, investments, customers, markets, community involvement, and strategic direction.
- Create or coordinate written, visual, photographic, and video content using authentic on-site access to Geater's people, facilities, equipment, capabilities, customer visits, and company activities.
- Develop recurring content supporting aerospace, defense, space, domestic manufacturing, autonomous systems, quality, workforce development, and other strategic themes.
- Maintain and update website content and ensure consistent use of Geater's brand across digital and printed communications.
- Coordinate content with sales campaigns so marketing activity supports priority accounts and markets rather than operating as a stand-alone communications function.
- Develop dashboards and reports that connect marketing activity to commercial outcomes.
- Track target accounts identified, relevant contacts developed, account engagement, meetings generated, RFQs, qualified pipeline, and orders influenced by marketing/business-development activity.
- Monitor supporting digital metrics including website activity, SEO, PPC, LinkedIn, email engagement, and campaign performance.
- Support Sales and marketing KPI reviews and recommend changes in account priorities, campaigns, messaging, or channel investment based on performance.
