Job Title: Key Account Manager – Fire Detection Systems

Role Summary
The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for demand generation, account management, and relationship building across new and existing accounts for fire detection systems. The role focuses on influencing demand through the buyer value chain, including consultants, MEP designers, EPCs, large contractors, system integrators, and end users, to ensure specification, approval, and conversion of projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Demand Generation & Account Development
Drive demand generation for fire detection systems across new and existing key accounts. Develop and execute account‑specific strategies to increase specification wins and project conversions. Identify and track upcoming projects at concept, design, and tender stages.Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely proposal submission and technical compliance.
2. Stakeholder Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the buyer value chain, including: Fire & safety consultants MEP consultants and designers
EPC contractors
Large electrical / fire contractors System integrators End users and facility owners Influence consultant specifications and approvals to position company products as preferred solutions. Act as the single point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
3. Consultant & Channel Engagement Conduct technical presentations, product trainings, and seminars for consultants, MEP firms, and integrators. Ensure inclusion of company products in tender documents, BOQs, and approved vendor lists.Collaborate with channel partners and integrators to jointly pursue identified opportunities.
4. Project Tracking & Opportunity Management Maintain a strong sales pipeline by tracking projects from design to order closure. Monitor project milestones and proactively resolve technical or commercial challenges. Coordinate with engineering, design, and service teams to ensure smooth project execution.
5. Revenue & Performance Management Achieve assigned revenue, order intake, and demand generation targets. Ensure healthy account growth, repeat business, and long‑term partnerships. Prepare periodic reports on account status, forecasts, and performance metrics.
Key Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of fire detection and life safety systems. Proven ability to manage complex B2B sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders. Excellent relationship‑building and influencing skills. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs. Strategic mindset with hands‑on execution capability.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Fire & Safety preferred) or equivalent.
Preferably an MBA 10–15 years of experience in fire detection, fire alarm systems, or building safety solutions. Prior experience working with consultants, MEP firms, EPCs, and large contractors is highly desirable
