Why This Role Matters
A Specialist in Talent Acquisition is responsible for attracting, sourcing, assessing, and hiring top talent to meet the organization's staffing needs. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers, HR teams, and external partners to develop and execute recruitment strategies, processes, and programs to identify and select qualified candidates who align with the organization's culture, values, and objectives.
What You Will Deliver
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and create recruitment plans and strategies to attract and hire top talent.
Source and attract candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, referrals, and direct sourcing techniques, to build a diverse and qualified candidate pipeline.
Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and fit for open positions, using behavioral and competency-based interviewing techniques and assessment tools.
Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and stakeholders, and facilitate candidate assessments, tests, and evaluations to ensure a thorough and fair selection process.
Partner with external recruitment agencies, staffing firms, and other vendors to support recruitment efforts and leverage their expertise and networks to identify and engage potential candidates.
Manage candidate communications and provide timely updates and feedback throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience and maintain engagement and interest.
Negotiate offers, prepare employment contracts, and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the organization.
Develop and maintain relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders, and serve as a trusted advisor and resource on recruitment-related matters and best practices.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive intelligence related to talent acquisition, and recommend innovative recruitment strategies and practices to attract and retain top talent.
Monitor recruitment metrics and performance indicators, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire, and analyze data to assess recruitment effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize recruitment processes and outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; professional certifications in talent acquisition or recruitment preferred
Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or related field, with a proven track record of sourcing and hiring candidates for diverse roles and levels.
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), candidate assessment tools, and other recruitment technology and tools, and the ability to leverage technology to streamline and enhance recruitment processes.
Skills That Matter:
Strong knowledge of recruitment principles, practices, and techniques, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection, as well as familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices governing recruitment and selection processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders, and effectively convey information and influence decision-making.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a dynamic and evolving environment.
