The Manager, Talent Acquisition – Luxury & Premium Brands is responsible for leading management recruitment across Marriott's Luxury portfolio within an assigned geographical region, while also supporting selected Premium and Select brand hiring where required. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, this role serves as a strategic talent advisor to hotel leadership teams, partnering closely with General Managers, Executive Committee leaders and Human Resources teams to identify, attract and assess management talent aligned to the unique service standards, culture and brand expectations of Marriott's luxury brands.

In addition to delivering management hiring outcomes, the role acts as a guardian of luxury talent standards across the region. This includes identifying and mapping target competitor organizations, advising stakeholders on talent market dynamics, ensuring brand-aligned attraction strategies, and maintaining consistency in how luxury opportunities are represented across recruitment channels.

The role owns the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned positions while balancing broader responsibilities related to talent pipelining, employer brand representation, luxury market intelligence and stakeholder consultation.

As part of a regional recruitment pod, the Manager collaborates with:

  • The Senior Manager overseeing the region
  • Early Careers & Events partner
  • South Africa TA Hub supporting hourly hiring

Luxury Management Hiring

  • Lead recruitment for red and blue banded management roles across Marriott's Luxury portfolio, including Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, W Hotels, EDITION, The Luxury Collection, JW Marriott and other luxury brands within the region
  • Partner with General Managers, Executive Committee members and Human Resources leaders to define talent requirements aligned to brand standards and business objectives
  • Assess candidates against both technical capability and luxury hospitality leadership behaviours
  • Ensure shortlisted candidates demonstrate the service philosophy, guest focus and leadership attributes expected within luxury environments
  • Manage sensitive and business-critical hires requiring a high degree of stakeholder alignment and candidate engagement
  • Support selected Premium and Select brand recruitment activity where specialist expertise is required

Luxury Talent Strategy & Market Intelligence

  • Develop and maintain talent maps of key luxury hospitality competitors and adjacent luxury industries
  • Identify target organisations and talent pools aligned to specific brand requirements
  • Provide market intelligence on competitor movement, emerging talent trends and availability of luxury leadership talent
  • Build proactive pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill management positions
  • Maintain relationships with external luxury talent communities to strengthen future hiring capability

Brand Guardianship & Employer Representation

  • Ensure all recruitment advertising, LinkedIn activity, talent marketing and candidate communications reflect the positioning and standards of the relevant luxury brand
  • Act as a quality control point for luxury recruitment campaigns and attraction strategies
  • Partner with People Brand and Marketing teams where appropriate to elevate luxury employer branding initiatives
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across all candidate touchpoints
  • Protect brand integrity by ensuring candidate experiences reflect Marriott's luxury service expectations

SLA & KPI Delivery

  • Meet or exceed regional SLAs including:
    • Time to Fill
    • Time to Slate
    • Time to Interview
    • Offer Acceptance rate
  • Maintain high levels of hiring manager and candidate satisfaction
  • Monitor requisition progress and proactively address delays or bottlenecks
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates within TA systems and dashboards

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Act as the primary recruitment partner to hotel Executive Committee members hiring for departments within Marriott's Luxury brands across the region.
  • Provide hiring managers with guidance on best practice interviewing and selection
  • Create clarity around timelines, process and candidate expectations
  • Challenge and influence hiring decisions where talent recommendations may not align with brand requirements or market realities
  • Facilitate calibration discussions to ensure consistent hiring standards across luxury properties
  • Coach hiring managers on luxury talent assessment and interview best practices
  • Escalate complex or sensitive hiring matters to the Senior Manager where appropriate

Pod Collaboration & Regional Support

  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager to ensure regional hiring plans are achieved
  • Support hourly hiring initiatives in partnership with the South Africa TA Hub when local expertise is required
  • Contribute to recruitment events, career fairs and local attraction initiatives
  • Support early careers hiring activity where needed to ensure successful intern and graduate placements

Talent Attraction & Market Awareness

  • Utilize job boards, LinkedIn and sourcing tools to build candidate pipelines
  • Support employer brand initiatives by promoting opportunities across relevant platforms
  • Provide local market insight on talent trends and competitor movement
  • Participate in local networking events where appropriate to build talent visibility

Required Experience

  • 3-5 years in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition within the EMEA region (luxury hospitality or other high-touch service environments industry preferred)
  • Experience recruiting management and leadership positions across multiple countries or regions
  • Demonstrated understanding of luxury hospitality service standards and talent requirements
  • Experience developing proactive sourcing and competitor mapping strategies
  • Experience partnering directly with General Managers, Executive Committees and senior business leaders
  • Experience operating within matrixed or shared service recruitment environments
  • Experience influencing hiring decisions through data, market insight and talent expertise

Success Measures

  • Reduction in overall Time to Fill across red, blue and purple banded roles
  • Increased candidate satisfaction and hiring manager satisfaction throughout the recruitment lifecycle
  • Consistent achievement or outperformance of SLA targets including:
    • Time to Slate
    • Time to Interview
    • Offer Acceptance rate
  • Strong quality of hire outcomes measured through hiring manager feedback and early retention indicators.
  • Successful delivery of management hiring demand across Marriott's Premium and Select brand portfolio, ensuring talent pipelines align with regional growth and business objectives.

Note: This is an EMEA regional role, and regular travel across the region will be required.  In addition, when not travelling, the expectation is to be based at the Local office three days a week or as needed.
