This role sits on our Enterprise Acquisition team — a dedicated new-logo function focused exclusively on winning net-new enterprise accounts. This isn't a book-of-business or renewals role: you'll be hunting greenfield territory, breaking into accounts with no prior Matillion footprint, and building pipeline from scratch — as part of a newer team still establishing its playbook.

5+ years of full-cycle new-business sales experience in complex technology solution selling, with a consistent record of exceeding $1M+ ARR quotas and closing six-figure deals with net-new logos

Fluency in a sales methodology such as MEDDIC, Force Management, or Value Selling, and experience navigating enterprise contracts and RFP processes

A demonstrated hunter mentality: a track record of independently sourcing, developing, and closing new customers in greenfield or underpenetrated territory, with disciplined pipeline management

The ability to quickly translate technical challenges into a business value proposition that resonates at every level of a prospect's organization

Strong negotiation and closing skills, consistently meeting or exceeding new-business targets
Domain expertise in the data and AI landscape strongly preferred; industry expertise in a relevant vertical is a plus

A scrappy, self-starter mindset, comfortable building without a fully paved path and willing to collaborate closely with a newer team as we establish how we win

Own the full new-logo sales cycle — from self-generated pipeline through closing six-figure deals with net-new enterprise accounts

Build and execute a territory capture strategy in partnership with your SDR, marketing, and channel partners to maximize new customer acquisition

Develop relationships with technology and consulting partners, positioning Maia's value to open doors into new accounts

Partner cross-functionally with product, marketing, and solution architecture, continually sharpening your craft as a new-business hunter

At Matillion, we are committed to providing compensation in line with market standards based on the role, job family, job level, and country. This role’s estimated annual salary range is $107,500 - $150,000. Because this role is eligible for variable pay in the form of sales commissions, your total annual on-target annual earnings will be between $215,000 - $300,000. The final salary will be based on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications demonstrated in the hiring process.
