NextGen Hospitality Solutions is searching for a skilled Kitchen Manager to join our vibrant team in Pensacola. This full-time, on-site position offers a fantastic opportunity to lead our culinary operations within the family dining sector, where we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dining experiences.

As the Kitchen Manager, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, manage a talented culinary team, and ensure that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. You will play a crucial role in menu development, inventory management, and maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment. Your leadership will directly contribute to our commitment to excellence in the family dining industry.

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 annually, alongside comprehensive benefits and the chance to grow your career in a welcoming and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all kitchen operations to ensure smooth daily functioning
  • Manage kitchen staff and train them in cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation
  • Develop and update menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and trends
  • Ensure quality control of food items and presentation before serving
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Implement and enforce health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with management to develop new promotions and specials

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in the restaurant industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
  • Ability to create and innovate menu offerings
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong communication skills and customer-focused mentality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage pressure
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred
